Original Website (Before)
When hired to make changes to the existing website we found out that the site was hosted using FrontPage Extensions. Since front page was discontinued in 2006 and the website could not be changed without it, we offered to rebuild the website using Joomla so that the site is easier to update from any computer. As well as use this as an opportunity to organize the content. Here is a snapshot of the original design.
First Concept Re-Design
The client provided us with a new logo they wanted to update the site with. In this first concept we thought it would be cool to tie the logo into the header. We thought the guy on the island was a cool way to show the owner and add some flare.
Second Concept Re-Design
We also used a tuna fish supplied by the client.
Third Concept Re-Design
This was the final design concept approved by the client. Not a bad make over!
This was a real fun site to re-design. There was a lot of content to work with and it was tough not letting the imagination go wild during this project.
